Registration Overview
Online registration provides an easy way for the conference attendees to register themselves for the conference activities. First time registrants can signup to get a registration id and a password of their choice. There are four steps for the registration - Personal details, Conference program selection, Confirmation and Payment. The attendee can pay online as well as pay at the bank and attach the scanned registration slip to the online registration. All these four steps are easy to use and is straight forward for the registrants. A detailed explanation is provided below, in case the registrant needs more elaboration on the topic.
 
Registration Details
Sign Up
New registrants are required to signup for the first time, in order to receive the registration id and password. Click sign up to go to the first step of registration

 
Login Screen
Requires the registration id and the password which the registrant provided in the first step. Note that registration id should all be in upper case and the password exactly in the form which was provided by the registrant.

 
Step 1
Registrants need to provide his/her personal details correctly to qualify for the registration. Invalid entries will be notified with a red asterisk. Information marked with red asterisk is necessary and the registrant should provide the correct details for them. On continuing to the second step the registration will be provided with an on screen details of his registration id, the same will be emailed to the email id provided by him. The registration id and password can be used later at any time to modify his details online.

 
Step 2
In step 2 the registrants are provided with many conference options.
I am registering as: Registrant must indicate, if he/she is an IEEE member or a student (Special discounted rates are available for IEEE member and students). By default the system will put him under non-member category.
Participation Role: Whether the registrant is a regular attendee or an Author/Presenter. Author/Presenters need to provide the number of papers they have submitted at EDAS. They must feed the paper number and title by click the 'Paper details' button. On clicking the 'Paper details' the registrant will be provided with a space to enter the paper number and its title. After entering each title the add button should be clicked to submit it to the registration. He/she can delete any paper wrongly fed, by clicking on the 'X' button provided next to the paper title. Note that additional papers will be charged, one paper is included in the registration fee.

Select you option: Select the best option from the 10 provided which suits you best. The fee for each one is provided categorized in front of them. The registrant must select the tutorial details in case the option has one.

Tutorials can be selected from the temporary 'Registration invoice details' which is generated by the system in the same form below.

Accompanying spouse: One spouse is allowed to accompany with the registrant, the details for which must be provided. These details will be used to issue conference badges for the accompanying spouse.

Social Event Attendance: Though not necessary but must be provided to attend them. A warning will be issued by the system, in case the attendee forgets to select them.

 
Step 3
Step 3 provides the registrant with the detailed options and details provided by him in the last two steps. The registrant can confirm them and proceed to the last step of payment process. In case any options or details need to corrected, he can go directly to that step by clicking on the step number provided at the top right corner. On proceeding to step 4 the registrant will be sent an email notifying the link for his registration details. The registrant must print it and bring along with him to the registration venue.
Note: the top right corner step numbers are just for navigation, you must save any details if modified. Navigating to any step will not save that step, the save button must be clicked to save the details.

 
Step 4
In step 4, you have two options of payment. By default the online payment is selected. The registrant can pay through his credit card (Visa/Master Card). The payment process completely secured and will convert the US$ to SAR during the process. Manual payment option is selected, in case the registrant pays at bank counter. He should attach the scanned payment slip to the registration system.
 
For the Organizers
Organizers can check the status of the registrations by clicking the following link www.i-tecarabia.com/EnergyCon/registerpass.htm . On successful login, they will be provided with a screen of registered attendees. Each attendee details can be viewed by clicking on there name. In case needed an email can be sent through your default email client by clicking on their email address. An excel file with more detailed information can be downloaded by clicking on the excel icon on the top left corner.
